This is a list of publicly accessible web services published throughout Idaho. These services are available for consumption through desktop GIS and web applications. Each service lists a server type and a URL. Services with a server type of 'WMS Server' are WMS services, and their URLs are links to their capabilities XML files. Services with a server type of 'KML Server' are KML services and their URLs are links to their kmz files. Services with other server types are SOAP services, and their URLs are links to their WSDL XML files.
SOAP services may be Map Servers, GeoData Servers, or Geocode Servers. Each SOAP service will list its capabilities beneath its URL. The capabilities tell you the basic actions that each service allows the user to request. Map services may have a Service Description and a list of layers. These provide a brief summary of the purpose and contents of the service.
